Guarantees

Please note that guarantees on second-hand boats are not transferrable. This particularly applies to boats donated by us to charities only to find the buyers are selling them on at a profit. Not only is this a kick in the teeth to the charities involved, I also feel it is an affront to our generosity.

Smartcast fishfinders

Please note that we are no longer able to buy spares for the RF15e fishfinders. This means that we cannot do repairs to these units. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Colchester show developments

Mike and Nicola now have had the chance to give the new developments in the boat a decent workout while demonstrating the new boat at the Five Lakes show. Unbelievably the boat did 8 hours on the Saturday and 6 hours on the Sunday, being demonstrated and tried out by customers - it virtually never stood still. It did this on ONE set of batteries. We noticed a slight drop-off of speed - customers couldn't notice it- so we changed the batteries as a matter of course. The 'old' batteries were down by 70%, so by no means flat. Approximately 100 people got to play with the boat and 100 people said WOW - the best boat they had ever handled.
Underwater and on surface filming in a couple of weeks - watch this space!

Recent Developments in Performance

Date added: 4th January 2014

1. All of our customers will know and appreciate our claim of, on average, one week in France on one set of batteries. Well guess what - we have increased this battery life by [an estimated] 50% [if not more]. Estimated because our field testers have not even had their hands on it yet to give us an accurate figure [but the maths tell their own story.

2. Steering - new rudder system results in the boat turning on its own axis. It literally leans when it turns [unbelievable for a prop and rudder].

3. Speed has increased to 5 knots [approx.] - a very fast walk [try it]. When we walked along side the boat we had to jog now and then to keep up!!

All the above are now available on all 2015 boats.

Price increase

From the 1st January 2015 our prices will be going up. We have previously adsorbed the increase in components but we are unable to do this any longer. All boats ordered AND paid for by 31st December 2014 will be at the current price. Ask for the new prices

Carbon print

Please note that the carbon effect boats are no longer available due to escalating costs. As such, only the gloss black boats are available. If things change in the future, we will update this info.

Closure

Just to let everyone know that from 1st October 2014 for at least 2 weeks we will be closing down for business due to a family medical procedure. As we do not know how the operation will go we cannot give an exact time frame. Calls may be answered. Thanks
